Origami Architecture by Masahiro Chatani

I finally got the chance to check out the exhibition at the Japan Foundation last night. It was an immense honour to see the master’s work here in Toronto. Masahiro Chatani, an architect himself, is the recognized creator of origami architecture. He brings landmark buildings into life on a single sheet of thin cardboard using strategic cuts and folds of geometric shapes. The exhibition ends on February 25 and is not open on weekends. Be sure to check it out before it’s too late!
